MBRP FS9401 4 Inch Stainless Steel Downpipe Ford 7.3L Powerstroke

The MBRP FS9401 downpipe is a high-performance 4-inch T409 stainless steel exhaust component designed to maximize exhaust flow and boost power output on 1999-2003 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks equipped with the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel engine. Part of MBRP's Armor Plus Series, this downpipe features corrosion-resistant T409 stainless steel construction that provides excellent durability and protection against rust penetration while remaining easy to clean and maintain.

Key Features:

• Premium T409 stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance
• 4-inch diameter mandrel-bent tubing eliminates flow restrictions
• Jig-manufactured for precise, accurate fitment
• Smooth mandrel bends prevent rippling and maintain consistent diameter
• Improved exhaust flow increases horsepower and engine efficiency
• Lifetime warranty coverage against manufacturing defects

Mandrel bending technology ensures the tubing maintains its full diameter through every bend, eliminating the restrictions found in crush-bent exhaust components. This unrestricted flow allows exhaust gases to exit more efficiently, reducing backpressure and allowing your engine to breathe better. The result is measurable gains in horsepower, torque, and throttle response, along with improved fuel economy and engine longevity.

Important Note: This downpipe is designed for off-road and racing applications only. It is not intended for use on vehicles equipped with catalytic converters and does not comply with emissions regulations for street-legal vehicles in most jurisdictions.

The T409 stainless steel material offers excellent resistance to corrosion under normal conditions, though exposure to heavy salt, road treatments, and extreme winter conditions may accelerate surface oxidation over time. MBRP backs this product with their comprehensive lifetime warranty against structural failure and manufacturing defects.
