The Hopkins 46255 Tail Light Power Converter with Isolation is designed to adapt vehicles with separate turn and stop light circuits to work with standard trailer tail light wiring systems. This direct battery-powered converter provides a reliable solution for towing applications where the vehicle's lighting system needs to be converted to a combined turn/brake signal format.

Key Features:

• 5-amp capacity with built-in circuit protection to safeguard your vehicle's electrical system
• Isolation technology prevents feedback and electrical interference between vehicle and trailer circuits
• Direct battery connection ensures consistent power delivery independent of vehicle lighting circuits
• 108-inch wire length provides flexible routing options for various vehicle configurations
• Complete installation kit includes power lead wire, fuse, fuse assembly, wire splices, and zip ties

This converter is ideal for vehicles with separate amber turn signals and red brake lights that need to tow trailers with combined brake/turn signal systems. The isolation feature protects vehicle electronics and prevents issues like bulb outages or erratic flashing that can occur with non-isolated converters.
