The Moroso 23840 Oil Filter Block-Off Plate is a precision-machined aluminum plate designed to seal the oil filter pad on Small Block and Big Block Chevy engines when converting to a dry sump oiling system or external oil pump. This block-off plate is engineered for applications without a center bolt hole at the oil filter pad, making it compatible with Gen V and Gen VI SBC and BBC configurations.
