The NGK 58927 (CPB-FD005) Coil on Plug Boot, also called an ignition coil boot or COP boot, is a direct-fit replacement made to match the original equipment part. The boot links the ignition coil to the spark plug. It is built to the tight tolerances that NGK, The Ignition Specialist, applies to its OE-grade ignition products.

Worn or cracked boots can allow flashover and cause misfires, rough starts and poor acceleration. NGK recommends replacing coil on plug boots whenever you change spark plugs to help prevent these ignition problems.
