The NGK 4213 Laser Iridium Spark Plug (NGK part number IZTR4A11) is a resistor-type iridium spark plug. It is built for performance-minded drivers who want long service life and a consistently stable spark. It is a direct replacement for many OE spark plugs and is an upgrade over standard copper plugs.

Key Features:

  • Fine-wire iridium alloy center electrode. Iridium has a very high melting point and is much harder than platinum, which helps durability and spark stability.
  • Laser-welded iridium tip with a platinum pad on the ground electrode. This gives even wear in DIS (distributorless) ignition systems.
  • Trivalent metal plating resists corrosion and seizing, so the plug installs and removes more easily.
  • Corrugated insulator ribs help prevent flashover.
  • Built-in resistor helps suppress radio frequency interference.
  • Factory pre-set gap, so no gapping is normally needed.
