NGK 25698 Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor 4-Wire Heated M18x1.5

The NGK 25698 is a direct-fit, 4-wire wideband air/fuel ratio sensor (also called an A/F sensor or wideband oxygen sensor, O2 sensor). It is sold under the NTK sensor line. A conventional oxygen sensor only switches between rich and lean. This sensor gives the engine computer a linear output signal. That lets the ECU see exactly how rich or lean the engine is running. The ECU can then adjust the fuel mixture continuously to stay close to stoichiometric. This supports good combustion and low emissions.

Key Features:

• Sensor type: wide-band air/fuel ratio sensor, heated for fast light-off
• Thread size: M18 x 1.5 metric, 18 mm thread diameter
• Hex size: 7/8 in.
• Wiring: 4 wires with an attached wiring harness; harness length about 11.75 in.
• Connector: grey, oval, male connector with 4 female blade terminals
• Fit: vehicle-specific direct fit, not universal
• Ceramic element: contaminant-resistant overcoat helps protect against element poisoning
• Construction: dual-coated platinum interface and a thinner ceramic element for fast response and durability
• Connector design: OE-specified, water-resistant connector for easy installation
• Origin: made in Japan
