Four Seasons 54289 A/C Evaporator Core OEM Replacement Aluminum Plate & Fin

The Four Seasons 54289 is an OEM-replacement, plate-and-fin A/C evaporator core constructed from high-grade aluminum. It is engineered to restore proper air conditioning performance by absorbing heat from cabin air as refrigerant passes through the core, delivering cooler, drier air to the passenger compartment.

How It Works:

As air is blown across the evaporator's fins, cold refrigerant flowing through the core removes heat and cools the air. Moisture condenses on the fins in the process, reducing cabin humidity and helping filter out dust and pollen.

Key Features:

• OEM-replacement design — core geometry matches or exceeds original equipment operation and efficiency
• High-grade aluminum construction — corrosion-resistant material for long service life
• Pressure-tested — leak-tested at the factory for maximum durability and peak system performance
• Plate & fin core design — optimized refrigerant flow for efficient heat transfer
• Includes O-rings and gaskets — all necessary hardware included for a complete, proper-sealing installation
• Female O-Ring inlet fitting — Size #8 inlet with Green O-Rings (OEM-style connection)
• Application-specific engineering — designed for a precise OE fit

Core Dimensions:

• Core Width: 9-1/2 in (241.3 mm)
• Core Height: 10-1/2 in (266.7 mm)
• Core Depth: 3-3/4 in (95.25 mm)
