Product Details

The Four Seasons 34218 is a VIR (Valve In Receiver) desiccant bag service kit designed to protect automotive air conditioning systems from moisture damage. Desiccant beads contained in the bag absorb moisture that infiltrates the A/C system, preventing the formation of corrosive acids that can damage critical components like the evaporator, condenser, and compressor.

Key Features:

  • VIR-style desiccant bag replacement kit for accumulators and filter driers
  • Absorbs moisture to prevent corrosive acid formation in A/C refrigerant
  • Complete kit includes necessary components for proper installation
  • Universal fit design for various vehicle applications
  • OE-quality replacement ensuring proper fit and performance

Over time, desiccant bags become saturated and lose their effectiveness, especially in systems that have been opened or have experienced leaks. Regular replacement of the desiccant bag during A/C service helps maintain system integrity and extends the life of expensive air conditioning components.

Cross-Reference OEM Numbers: 431820189, 19188833, 2724002, 2724225, 2724227
