KYB SR4848 Strut-Plus Complete Strut Assembly with Coil Spring

The KYB Strut-Plus SR4848 is a complete strut assembly (also called a loaded strut or complete corner unit) that restores the original ride, handling and control of your vehicle. It arrives pre-assembled with the spring, top mount and insulators already fitted, so installation is faster and simpler than with a traditional strut.

Key Features:

• Pre-loaded assembly with the correct spring, top mount and insulators
• Built around the KYB Excel-G gas strut, with damping valves calibrated to help restore OE-style handling and stability
• Strut body and brackets are designed to be rigid, which helps minimize flex and maintain wheel alignment
• Helps electronic safety systems work as designed by restoring the handling the vehicle manufacturer intended
• Application-specific components are included where applicable, such as a bearing plate, spring seat, isolators, boot and bumper
• No spring compressor required

A strut assembly supports vehicle weight, sets ride height, acts as a steering pivot and helps control stability. Replacing worn struts with a KYB Strut-Plus assembly lets you replace the strut, spring and mount in one step. KYB is an original equipment supplier of shocks and struts.
