SP Performance Straight Slotted Brake Rotor Set Zinc

The SP Performance Straight Slotted Brake Rotor Set is a performance replacement brake rotor (disc brake rotor) designed to improve braking feel and consistency. Each rotor has machined straight slots and a zinc-coated finish. The coating protects against rust and gives a clean look behind open wheels.

Key Features:

• Machined slots: Slots across the friction surface carry away brake dust, gases and water. This helps the pad keep clean, consistent contact with the rotor.
• Better bite and less fade: Venting the gases that build up at high braking temperatures helps reduce brake fade and improves pad bite.
• Improved wet-weather braking: The slots clear water from the rotor face and help prevent hydroplaning between pad and rotor.
• Sinusoid curve chamfer: SP Performance's chamfer design removes sharp edges and improves air circulation. This helps reduce stress and heat checking.
• Zinc corrosion-resistant coating: The coating protects against rust, corrosion and oxidation. It will wear away over time where the pads contact the rotor face.
• Cast iron construction: The rotors are made from high-quality castings designed with CAD software and machined on CNC equipment for consistent quality.
• Bolt-on installation: The rotors are sized to match OEM dimensions, so no modifications are needed.

These slotted rotors suit daily drivers and performance driving. They give a simple, cost-effective way to upgrade stopping performance. Replacing the brake pads at the same time is recommended for best results.
