Gates Radiator Hose

Gates radiator hoses are engineered to carry engine coolant between the radiator and engine reliably. Gates is a long-established name in belts and hoses. The line includes molded and curved upper and lower radiator coolant hoses, also called radiator hoses or coolant hoses. The hoses are designed as OE-style replacements for original equipment hoses.

Key Features:

• Molded construction that holds its shape and keeps the correct routing, so the hose does not kink or collapse
• Reinforced, multi-layer design built to handle engine heat, system pressure and constant flexing
• Synthetic rubber materials chosen to resist coolant, ozone, oil and heat degradation
• Lower hoses may include an internal support to help prevent collapse under suction
• Direct-replacement design for a straightforward installation

A worn radiator hose can swell, soften, crack or leak, which can lead to coolant loss and engine overheating. Replacing it with a quality Gates hose helps keep the cooling system dependable. It is good practice to replace hose clamps and refresh the coolant at the same time.
