Rhino-Rack MAXTRAX Kinetic Recovery Rope

The Rhino-Rack MAXTRAX Kinetic Recovery Rope is a kinetic snatch rope for off-road vehicle recovery. It is made to act as the stretching element when one vehicle pulls another that is stuck. Use it for 4WD, truck and SUV recoveries on sand, mud, snow and rough trails.

Key Features:

• Kinetic stretch: Up to 30% elongation gives more kinetic energy than a flat snatch strap. This makes the pull smoother and more controlled.
• Strong construction: Built from nylon 66 and polyester. Each rope is rated to a minimum breaking strength of 12,000 kg (26,455 lb).
• Consistent diameter: The rope is 24 mm thick in every length.
• Part of the MAXTRAX Recovery System: It is designed to work with MAXTRAX recovery components. The manufacturer says a MAXTRAX Fuse Shackle (sold separately) must be used during any recovery. The shackle is meant to be the weakest link if the system is overloaded.

Safety Notes: This rope is for dynamic vehicle recovery only. Do not use it for lifting or conventional towing. Check it for damage before each use. Its strength and stretch are reduced when it is saturated with water. Drape a recovery damper, heavy bag or blanket over the rope during use.
