Bosch MAP Sensor

The Bosch MAP sensor (manifold absolute pressure sensor) measures the pressure inside the intake manifold and sends that signal to the engine control unit. The ECU uses it, along with other inputs, to calculate engine load and air mass. It then adjusts fuel delivery and ignition timing for efficient combustion, smooth running and good drivability.

Key Features:

• Reports intake manifold absolute pressure to the engine control unit for accurate fueling and timing control
• Some versions also include an integrated intake air temperature sensor, which gives the ECU both pressure and temperature data from a single unit
• Built to Bosch's OE-level standards for dependable electrical performance
• Designed to withstand the heat, vibration and under-hood conditions of the engine bay
• Plug-in design for straightforward installation

A failing MAP sensor can cause a rough idle, hesitation, poor fuel economy, reduced power or a check engine light. Replacing it with a Bosch sensor helps restore accurate load readings and proper engine management. Choose the variant with the part number that matches your application.
