Wilwood Wear Plate

The Wilwood Wear Plate line, also called a pad wear plate or caliper wear plate, is made for Wilwood brake calipers. The plates sit between the brake pad and the caliper body. They give the pad a hard, smooth surface to slide against, so the pad ears don't wear into the caliper.

Key Features:

• Protects the caliper pad abutments from wear and galling
• Gives the brake pad a smooth, consistent surface to move against
• Helps the pads move freely and retract evenly
• Made for Wilwood calipers, with options for several caliper families
• Some versions are stainless steel, which resists corrosion and wear
• Sold as replacement or service hardware for Wilwood disc brake calipers

Fitting new wear plates when you service your pads helps keep the caliper in good condition. Choose the correct part number for your caliper model and, where it applies, the correct side.
