Kentrol Center Frame Skid Plate Mount

The Kentrol Center Frame Skid Plate Mount is a weld-on center frame repair section. It replaces the rusted or broken frame area that holds the skid plate. This frame repair section is made for the center of the frame, which is a low point where water and debris collect and corrosion often starts. Once the mounting area fails, the skid plate can pull away from the frame. The skid plate protects the transmission and transfer case.

Key Features:

• Replaces the corroded center frame section at the skid plate mounting location
• EZ Slip design lets the repair section slide onto the frame
• Includes the factory holes and mounting locations needed
• Modeled in CAD, then laser cut, formed and finish welded for accurate fit
• Steel construction
• Welding is required to install

Installation involves cutting out the damaged section and welding in the new one. This is work for an experienced fabricator or welder. Applying a rust-inhibiting paint after welding helps protect the repair. The result is a stronger frame and a solid, secure mount for your skid plate.
