Brembo PISTA Brake Rotors Type

Brembo PISTA brake rotors are high-performance two-piece disc brake rotors built for track days, club racing, and spirited street driving. They are Brembo's "Type 3" design and are offered in Brembo big brake kits. Each rotor pairs a precision-machined friction ring with a separate mounting hat, so you get a lighter, more durable rotor assembly than a one-piece design.

Key Features:

• Two-piece floating construction: The friction ring is separate from the aluminum hat. This lets the ring expand with heat, which helps reduce warping and cracking.
• Race-derived design: Brembo developed the PISTA line from its motorsport experience, and it is meant for repeated hard braking.
• Fade resistance: The rotor design and friction ring material are made to keep braking consistent under sustained high temperatures.
• Lower unsprung weight: A lightweight hat helps reduce rotating and unsprung mass compared with a comparable one-piece iron rotor.
• Big brake kit compatibility: The rotors are supplied as part of Brembo multi-piston front and rear brake kits.

Brembo is a leading maker of braking systems for performance and racing vehicles. PISTA rotors offer strong stopping power, good heat management, and long service life for drivers who want a track-capable brake upgrade.
