Design Engineering Dei Heat Sheath High-Temperature Line Protection

Design Engineering (DEI) Heat Sheath high-temperature line protection is a slip-on heat sleeve, also called line sleeving or a heat shield sleeve. It protects hoses, wires, cables and lines from radiant heat and abrasion. It slides over the component, so you can fit it without a complicated installation. It helps keep critical underhood lines, air intakes and hoses cool and protected.

Key Features:

• Metalized polyimide gold reflective skin bonded to a heat-treated 20 oz. glass fiber base material
• Reflects radiant heat up to 800°F
• Base glass is rated to 1,100°F
• Lock-weave glass fiber construction resists abrasion and keeps lines flexible
• Slip-on design that can be trimmed to the length you need
• Tested to FSTM 191.5100 and ASTM D1117 standards
• Made in the U.S.A.

Do not apply directly to exhaust components. Use it to shield fuel lines, hoses, wiring looms and other lines from nearby heat sources. It suits automotive, racing and other performance applications. Design Engineering, Inc. has long been a specialist in heat-control products.
