Product Details

The Goodyear Belts & Hoses 57919 idler pulley, also called a serpentine belt idler pulley or accessory drive belt idler pulley, is a replacement part for the engine's front-end accessory drive (FEAD) system. It guides the belt and keeps it properly aligned as it carries power from the crankshaft to accessories such as the alternator, water pump, power steering pump and A/C compressor.

Key Features:

  • Part type: FEAD accessory drive belt idler pulley
  • Outside diameter: 2.73 in.
  • Material: Thermoplastic construction
  • Color: Black
  • Belt type: Serpentine
  • Grade: OEM performance replacement

Worn bearings, poor tension and misalignment can reduce efficiency in a high-mileage engine and cause noise. Replacing a worn idler pulley helps restore smooth, quiet belt operation and protects belt life.

So far it has been a simple process. Minimal steps from product description to checkout.

From a purely online ordering experience, perfect.

Tried using discover card but payment failed to go through even though I got a message that the payment was approved by the credit card company.

Return policy was not as described.
