Product Details

The Goodyear Belts & Hoses 57918 is an accessory drive belt idler pulley, also called a serpentine belt idler pulley or FEAD pulley. It guides the belt and keeps it aligned in the engine's accessory drive. This helps the belt run smoothly and helps protect the alternator, water pump, power steering pump and A/C compressor from uneven belt travel.

Key Features:

  • Outside diameter: 2.42 in.
  • Material: Thermoplastic pulley construction
  • Type: Accessory drive belt idler pulley for serpentine belt systems
  • Precision design: Built to help maintain smooth, vibration-free belt travel
  • Grade: OEM performance replacement

Replacing a worn or noisy idler pulley restores proper belt alignment and tension. This helps extend belt life and keeps the accessory drive quiet and reliable.
