Product Details

The Goodyear Belts & Hoses 57808 idler pulley, also called a serpentine belt idler or FEAD pulley, guides the accessory drive belt and keeps it tracking correctly. It is built to meet or exceed OEM specifications.

Key Features:

  • Steel construction for durability under engine-compartment stress
  • Sealed ball bearing to keep out contaminants and extend bearing life
  • Precision-engineered to maintain proper belt alignment and tension, which reduces belt wear
  • Designed for quiet, smooth, vibration-free belt travel
  • Smooth, backside contact surface for serpentine belts
  • Black finish, non-flanged design

Specifications:

  • Outside diameter: 2.91 in.
  • Width: 1.49 in.
  • Bearing bore inside diameter: 0.79 in.
  • Material: Steel
  • Grade: OEM Performance

Cross-References:

  • Gates: 36285
  • Continental: 49174
  • Dayco: 89111
  • OEM: 4572001670, 4572003670, A4572003670

A worn idler pulley can cause belt noise, wobble and uneven belt wear. Replacing it restores smooth operation of the belt drive.

Awesome

This is one of those rare cases when I'm really eager to provide feedback because every part of this purchase transaction was simply outstanding! It was easy and straightforward to find the item (helmet) and buy it online, the price was much better than competing stores, and I was so happy when it arrived on my doorstep a mere two days after I bought it! Communication via email was clear and informative, and the helmet itself I'm very pleased with and it was packaged securely and safely. I really appreciate all the hard work by Autoplicity to make this one of those truly good shopping experiences. Thank you!

very good!
