Product Details

The Goodyear Belts & Hoses 55206 Automatic Belt Tensioner (also called a FEAD tensioner or serpentine belt tensioner) keeps the front-end accessory drive belt at the correct tension. Correct tension helps the belt drive run efficiently.

Key Features:

  • Keeps belt tension consistent, which supports belt drive efficiency
  • Dampens torsional vibrations, which helps extend belt life
  • Precision-made pulley for proper belt alignment
  • Restores belt drive performance on high-mileage engines, where worn bearings, improper tension and misalignment can reduce efficiency
  • Machined exterior finish

Goodyear Belts designs its tensioner and pulley line to give complete support to an engine's belt drive system, with a long service life. Manufacturer part number: 55206.
