Goodyear Belts & Hoses 22041 Engine Timing Belt Idler Pulley

The Goodyear Belts & Hoses 22041 timing belt idler pulley (also called a timing idler or tensioner pulley) guides the timing belt along its path between the crankshaft and camshaft pulleys. It helps keep belt tension and alignment correct so the engine's valve timing stays accurate.

Key Features:

• Machined exterior, built from high-quality materials for durability in demanding engine environments
• Smooth-operating bearings reduce friction between the belt and pulley, limiting wear on both parts
• Helps maintain proper belt tension and alignment for steady engine performance
• Helps prevent premature timing belt failure
• Designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications
• Interchange numbers: 14510CRAA01, 20692064-101, 20692632-101, 85516, T41232
• Dimensions: approximately 3.74 x 3.74 x 2.04 inches

A worn or damaged idler pulley can let the timing belt jump or snap, which can cause severe engine damage. Replacing the idler along with the timing belt extends belt life and protects the engine.
