Product Details

The Goodyear Belts 1061240 Multi V-Belt is a serpentine belt, also called an accessory drive belt. It transfers power from the crankshaft to engine accessories such as the alternator, water pump, A/C compressor and power steering pump. It has a K profile, 6 ribs and a 124 in. effective length (6PK3150).

Key Features:

  • EPDM rubber compound resists heat, ozone, weathering and abrasion
  • Balanced twist polyester cord for strength and long service life
  • K cross section with 6 ribs and a 40 degree rib angle
  • Effective length: 124 in.; outside circumference: 124.62 in.
  • Thickness: 0.17 in.; top width: 0.82 in.
  • Meets SAE J1459; OE Performance grade; black
  • Not top cogged
  • Interchange numbers: 6PK3150; Thermo-King 78-1744

Goodyear designs its Multi V-belts to meet or exceed OE requirements for quiet operation and long belt life. AutoCare recommends inspecting belts at 60,000 miles and replacing them at 90,000 miles. Installing a new belt helps restore drive system efficiency.
