Heil Dual Run Capacitor

The Heil Dual Run Capacitor is a replacement motor run capacitor for residential HVAC systems. Each unit combines two capacitors in one housing. One section supports the compressor and the other supports the condenser fan motor. Dual run capacitors are also called dual capacitors, AC capacitors, or fan and compressor run capacitors. They help air conditioners and heat pumps start and run reliably.

Key Features:

• Dual-section design serves the compressor and the fan motor from a single component
• Round can construction for standard mounting in condensing units
• Helps provide steady motor torque and efficient operation
• Terminals are marked for the common, fan and herm connections
• Replaces failed or weak capacitors, a common cause of hard starting, humming motors, or an outdoor unit that will not run

Capacitance and voltage ratings vary by part number. Select the variant that matches the rating on your original capacitor. Always disconnect power and safely discharge the capacitor before servicing.
