ContiTech Mileage Maker V-Ribbed Serpentine Belt

The ContiTech Mileage Maker V-Ribbed Serpentine Belt (also called a poly-V belt, multi-rib belt or drive belt) is an OE-quality replacement belt. It transmits torque from the crankshaft to the engine accessories. Those accessories include the alternator, water pump, power steering pump and air conditioning compressor. ContiTech is part of Continental, an original equipment manufacturer, so these belts are built with OE-level quality, fit and function.

Key Features:

• Polychloroprene rubber cover and body resists oil, heat and ozone
• Polyester fiber tensile members give strength with minimal stretch
• Ribbed design keeps a consistent grip on the pulleys
• Lower profile design handles higher engine revs, runs cooler and reduces noise
• Oil-resistant and temperature-stable from -22°F to 176°F (-30°C to 80°C)
• Quiet performance, including in wet conditions
• Up to 98% power transmission efficiency
• Service life intervals of up to 150,000 miles, with no re-tensioning required

A serpentine belt drives several accessories with one continuous belt, which replaced older setups that used a separate V-belt for each component. The Mileage Maker line is available in a wide range of lengths and rib counts, so you can match the belt to your engine's accessory drive.
