Forespar Marelon Mushroom Head Thru-Hull Fitting

The Forespar Marelon mushroom head thru-hull fitting is a through-hull (seacock) fitting for boat plumbing. Typical uses include raw water intakes, cockpit drains, bilge pump discharge, and other below-waterline or near-waterline runs. The low-profile mushroom head sits nearly flush with the hull exterior. It is a good choice where a smooth hull surface or reduced drag matters.

Key Features:

• Made from Marelon, Forespar's glass-reinforced composite. It will not corrode or electrolyze like metal fittings, and it is not affected by galvanic action.
• Mushroom head design for a clean, low-profile exterior finish
• Resists impact, UV exposure, and marine chemicals
• Supplied with a mounting nut for secure installation through the hull
• Lightweight, and not subject to dezincification
• Works with compatible hose barbs, seacocks, and valves for a complete through-hull system

Marelon fittings are widely used in saltwater and freshwater applications, including sailboats, powerboats, and commercial vessels. Forespar is a respected marine hardware brand, and its Marelon line is a common upgrade or replacement for bronze through-hull fittings. Several sizes and color options are available in this product line. Select the variant that matches your hull opening and plumbing requirements.
