Racing Power Co. Phenolic Carburetor Spacer

The Racing Power Co. Phenolic Carburetor Spacer line (also called a carb spacer or carb isolator) goes between the carburetor and the intake manifold. It helps reduce the heat that passes from the manifold to the carburetor. Cooler, denser air and fuel can improve throttle response and engine performance. Phenolic carb spacers are popular on street/strip, performance and racing engines.

Key Features:

• Phenolic construction: Phenolic resin insulates better than aluminum, which reduces heat transfer from the intake manifold to the carburetor.
• Thicker plenum: Adding spacer height lengthens the intake plenum, which can improve airflow and fuel flow.
• Multiple styles: The line comes in several thicknesses and in open and 4-hole designs to suit different carburetor and intake setups.
• Installation hardware: Gaskets and mounting hardware are included for installation, as documented for the line.
• Lightweight and durable: The material is lightweight and resists heat and fuel exposure.

These spacers are designed for off-road and competition use, and are intended for use on non-emissions-controlled vehicles or vehicles used solely for closed-course racing. Choose the style and thickness that match your carburetor and intake manifold setup.
