Motorad Thermostat Kit with Housing

The Motorad Thermostat Kit with Housing is a complete engine coolant thermostat and housing assembly. It is designed to replace worn or failing cooling system parts and to help the engine reach and hold its proper operating temperature. Each kit pairs a thermostat with a matching housing, so you can replace both parts in one repair. This is useful when an old housing is corroded, cracked or leaking. Motorad also calls this part a thermostat housing kit or coolant thermostat assembly.

Key Features:

• Thermostat and housing supplied together as a kit for a more complete cooling system repair
• Opening temperature is specified for each part number
• Regulates coolant flow to help control engine temperature, warm-up time and efficiency
• Made by Motorad, a long-established thermostat and cooling system brand
• Replaces the original components with a direct-fit design

Replacing a faulty thermostat helps prevent overheating, slow warm-up and poor heater performance. Fitting a new housing at the same time helps avoid leaks at an aging housing. Refill the system with fresh coolant and bleed out any air after installation.
