ACDelco Professional Radiator Cap

The ACDelco Professional Radiator Cap is a replacement engine cooling system cap, also called a radiator pressure cap. It seals the cooling system and holds it at a specified pressure. This raises the coolant's boiling point and helps the engine run at a steady operating temperature.

Key Features:

• Pressure-rated design that keeps the cooling system sealed and pressurized
• Built-in pressure relief valve that vents excess pressure to protect hoses, the radiator and other cooling components
• Vacuum valve that lets coolant return from the overflow reservoir as the engine cools
• Backed by the ACDelco Professional line, which is engineered to meet or exceed demanding quality standards
• Simple twist-on installation with no special tools

A worn or faulty radiator cap can cause coolant loss, overheating, and collapsed or burst hoses. Replacing it is a low-cost way to help protect your engine's cooling system. Always let the engine cool completely before you open the radiator cap. Select the pressure rating that matches your vehicle's specification.
