3M Gold Abrasive Sheet 9x11 Inch

3M Gold Abrasive Sheets are pre-cut sandpaper sheets for automotive refinishing and body repair. They use an open coat aluminum oxide abrasive on a light A-weight paper backing. They are made for hand sanding and for use with sanding blocks. They suit jobs from express repair to large body repair.

Key Features:

• Aluminum oxide abrasive: Durable mineral that cuts efficiently on paint, primer, fiberglass, metal and SMC.
• Open coat construction: Spaced abrasive grains leave room for dust and debris. This reduces loading (clogging) and gives a more aggressive cut than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade.
• Light A-weight paper backing: Flexible and suited to hand sanding and finishing.
• Precision-coated minerals and resins: Built for long-lasting performance and uniform, consistent finishes.
• Multiple grit grades: Coarser grits suit feather edging of filler and putty. Finer grits suit refinement and primer sanding.

3M Gold Abrasives have a long reputation in body shops for quality, performance and durability. Choose the grit that matches your sanding stage, from rough shaping to final prep before paint.
