Auveco Phillips Oval Head SEMS Tapping Screw

Auveco Phillips oval head SEMS tapping screws are self-tapping fasteners for automotive, truck, and general repair work. Each screw has a Phillips drive and a countersunk oval head. The head sits slightly raised for a finished look and sits flush in countersunk holes. They are also called sheet metal screws or oval head tapping screws.

Key Features:

• SEMS design: A captive washer comes assembled on the screw. This spreads clamping load and helps keep the washer from getting lost during installation.
• Self-tapping threads: The screw forms its own threads in sheet metal and similar thin materials, so it usually needs only a pilot hole.
• Phillips drive: Works with common Phillips drivers and gives positive, easy driving.
• Oval head: Gives a clean, finished appearance for trim, panels, and interior or exterior fastening.
• Chrome finish: Gives a bright appearance and added corrosion resistance.

Auveco is a long-established supplier of automotive fasteners and hardware, and these screws suit repair, restoration, and maintenance jobs. Choose the variant that matches the size you need.
