Panther Stainless Steel Outboard Skeg Protector

The Panther Safe-Skeg stainless steel outboard skeg protector (also called a skeg guard or skeg cover) fits over your lower unit's original skeg. Use it to protect a new skeg from impact damage. You can also use it to restore a chipped, worn or damaged skeg without welding.

Key Features:

• 316 marine-grade stainless steel construction resists corrosion in salt and fresh water.
• Polished finish gives the lower unit a clean, finished look.
• Seamless design adds strength and durability.
• Drain hole lets water escape. This helps guard against corrosion and freeze-up damage.
• Engine-specific models are made to fit the original skeg shape.
• Quick installation: mounting hardware and instructions are supplied. Installation takes only minutes.

A damaged skeg can hurt performance and change how the outboard steers. A Safe-Skeg protector helps keep the lower unit performing and looking as it should. It is a practical upgrade for boaters who run in shallow water or around rocks and debris.
