Design Engineering Dei Fire Sleeve Heat Protection

Design Engineering (DEI) Fire Sleeve is a heat-resistant thermal protection sleeve (also called a fire sleeve, heat sleeve or hose wrap). It shields hoses, fuel lines, oil lines, brake and transmission lines, and electrical wiring from intense underhood heat and abrasion.

Key Features:

• Braided glass construction: High-temperature-resistant braided glass is woven into a sleeve and heavily coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber.
• Heat rating: Provides protection from direct heat up to 500°F and withstands up to 2,000°F of intermittent heat.
• Versatile protection: Insulates wiring, hoses, and oil, brake and transmission lines.
• Bundling: Also works for bundling and protecting hoses and electrical wiring.
• Slip-on design: The sleeve slides over the component, so no special tools are needed.

Fire Sleeve helps keep heat-sensitive components cooler and extends their service life. It suits street, performance, racing and off-road applications. It is available in multiple inside diameters to match different hose and wire sizes.
