Airtex Coolant Temperature Sender

The Airtex Coolant Temperature Sender (also called a coolant temperature sensor or engine temperature sending unit) monitors engine coolant temperature and sends that information to the dashboard temperature gauge or warning light. In some applications it also sends data to the engine control system. Accurate readings help you spot overheating early and help the engine run efficiently.

Key Features:

• Replacement coolant temperature sender engineered to restore proper temperature signal output
• Designed to match the form, fit and function of the original equipment part
• Threaded body with an integrated electrical connection for secure installation and a reliable seal
• Built for durable performance under constant heat cycling and exposure to coolant
• Backed by Airtex, a long-established name in fuel, water and engine management components

A failing coolant temperature sender can cause an inaccurate or erratic temperature gauge, a false warning light, poor fuel economy, hard starting or a rough idle. Replacing it with a quality Airtex unit helps restore reliable engine temperature monitoring.
