Rheem-Ruud SPST Limit Switch Auto Reset F Open F Close

This Rheem-Ruud SPST limit switch is an auto-reset furnace limit control, also called a high limit switch or thermostat limit control. It is designed for gas and electric furnaces and air handlers. It monitors temperature and opens the circuit if the heat exchanger or plenum gets too hot. This helps protect the equipment and keeps it operating safely.

Key Features:

• Single-pole, single-throw (SPST) switch configuration
• Automatic reset: the switch recloses on its own once temperature falls back to a safe level
• Opens and closes at set Fahrenheit temperature points, which vary by part number
• Works as a safety limit control in the heating system's control circuit
• Rheem-Ruud replacement part, made to fit the original equipment

Rheem-Ruud limit switches are an easy replacement when a furnace shuts down early, cycles on its limit, or has a failed or out-of-calibration control. Pick the model with the open and close temperature ratings that match your original part.
