WAI Distributors Pencil Ignition Coil

The WAI Distributors Pencil Ignition Coil (also called a coil-on-plug ignition coil or pencil coil) is a replacement ignition component. It converts the battery's low-voltage current into the high-voltage spark that ignites the air-fuel mixture in your engine. Each coil is built for use in a coil-on-plug ignition system. It mounts directly over the spark plug and replaces the older distributor and plug wire arrangement.

Key Features:

• Slim pencil-style design that fits into the spark plug well
• Coil-on-plug construction that delivers spark directly to the plug and doesn't need a separate plug wire
• Replacement part for restoring ignition performance
• Available under multiple part numbers to cover different applications

Benefits:

• Helps restore smooth idle and consistent engine performance
• Helps address misfires, rough running, hard starting and poor fuel economy caused by a worn or failing coil
• Helps return the engine to normal ignition operation
