Moose Racing Rim Lock Rubber Coated Aluminum

The Moose Racing rim lock (also called a bead lock or tire bead retainer) is a rubber-coated aluminum part. It keeps the tire from slipping or spinning on the rim. It is made for off-road and low-pressure riding. Lower pressures improve traction, but they also make slippage more likely, and slippage can tear the valve stem or pinch the tube.

Key Features:

• Aluminum construction is lightweight and strong
• Rubber coating protects the inner tube from abrasion
• Ribbed rubber surface grips the tire bead and helps lock the tire to the rim
• Metal insert is molded into the rubber so the lock clamps securely to the rim
• Made for off-road, trail, and technical terrain use with low-pressure tires

This rim lock is a simple, durable way to improve tire retention on your wheels. It helps keep the tire in place under hard braking and acceleration.
