Rheem-Ruud SelecTech Gen 3 Variable Speed ECM Blower Motor

The Rheem-Ruud SelecTech Gen 3 Variable Speed ECM Blower Motor is an electrically commutated motor (ECM) for direct-drive blower applications. It is used as a replacement indoor blower motor in HVAC equipment. The variable-speed design lets the motor adjust its output to the airflow the system needs. This can improve comfort and efficiency compared with a fixed-speed motor.

Key Features:

• Robust ECM design for reliable, efficient direct-drive blower operation
• Variable speed operation that adjusts airflow to match system demand
• Simple 24V control with constant-torque operation, so it integrates easily into existing air-moving systems
• Fully potted electronic module for superior moisture protection
• Programmable tap settings for different airflow requirements
• Shell-band mounting with ball bearings and direct drive

SelecTech Gen 3 motors are made for Rheem and Ruud HVAC equipment. They are a dependable way to restore blower performance in furnaces and air handlers. As with any ECM replacement, the motor should be matched to the original in mounting, shaft and rotation. The HP and voltage rating for each motor is listed on the individual variant.
