Performance Eng Ford 9 Inch Floater Housing

The Performance Eng Ford 9 Inch Floater Housing is a fabricated rear axle housing for the Ford 9-inch differential. It is built for racing and other high-performance use. A floater (full-floating) design lets the hubs carry the vehicle's weight. This is a common choice for circle track, drag and other demanding rear-end builds. This housing is also sold under the names Ford 9" floater rear end housing and 9-inch floater axle housing.

Key Features:

• Floater housing design for the Ford 9-inch rear end
• Standard .188" wall DOM steel axle tubes
• Stamped center section
• 2.5" Grand National (GN) snouts
• Axle tubes are turned for easy installation of standard birdcages and suspension mounts
• Centered pinion layout

Performance Engineering & Manufacturing builds rear-end components for racers. This housing is offered in several widths, so you can choose the one that suits your build.
