Packard 3-Pole Definite Purpose Contactor

The Packard 3-Pole Definite Purpose Contactor is an electrical contactor for switching power to motors, compressors, and other loads in HVAC/R and general electrical systems. It uses a coil to open and close three sets of contacts, so a low-voltage control signal can switch line voltage on and off. Packard contactors are also called HVAC contactors, condenser contactors, or compressor contactors.

Key Features:

• 3-pole design switches all three legs of a three-phase load, and can also be used on single-phase equipment
• Definite purpose construction is made for HVAC/R equipment such as air conditioners, heat pumps, and condensing units
• Coil-actuated contacts give reliable switching from a low-voltage control circuit
• Rated for repeated on/off cycling in demanding equipment
• Works as a direct replacement for many standard contactors in residential and light commercial systems

Packard is a well-known brand of HVAC/R electrical components. Choose the variant with the amperage rating and coil voltage that match your equipment's requirements.
