Airtex A/C Clutch Relay

The Airtex A/C Clutch Relay is an electrical relay that switches power to the air conditioning compressor clutch. It is also called an AC compressor clutch relay or A/C relay. When the climate control system calls for cooling, the relay closes its circuit and engages the compressor clutch. This lets the system circulate refrigerant and cool the cabin.

Key Features:

• Switches the electrical load for the A/C compressor clutch circuit
• Replacement relay for A/C systems with a failed, sticking or intermittent relay
• Plug-in design that is usually simple to replace
• Backed by Airtex, a long-established supplier of automotive replacement parts

A worn relay can cause weak or no cooling, an A/C compressor that cycles erratically, or a clutch that will not engage. Replacing it restores reliable A/C operation. Each variant in this line is listed under its own part number.
