Airtex Vapor Canister Evaporative Emission Control

The Airtex Vapor Canister is part of the evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. It is also called a fuel vapor canister or charcoal canister. It captures and stores fuel vapors from the fuel tank so they are not released into the atmosphere. This helps your vehicle meet emission standards.

Key Features:

• Activated carbon design traps and holds fuel vapors while the engine is off
• Stored vapors are released to the engine intake to be burned during normal operation
• Helps prevent fuel odors and reduces hydrocarbon emissions
• Replacement part for a damaged, saturated, or clogged canister, which can trigger EVAP-related check engine codes
• Engineered as a replacement for the original equipment part

Airtex has long been a name in fuel and emission system components. Choose the part number that matches your application.
