Airtex Ignition Knock Detonation Sensor Connector Pigtail

The Airtex Ignition Knock Detonation Sensor Connector Pigtail line offers replacement knock sensor connectors, also called detonation sensor pigtails or knock sensor harness connectors. They restore the electrical link between the knock sensor and the engine wiring harness when the original plug has become brittle, melted, corroded or damaged.

Key Features:

• Pigtail design: A connector with leads attached lets you repair the harness by splicing, with no need to replace the whole harness.
• Ignition system application: Built to connect the knock (detonation) sensor, which helps the engine control module detect knock and adjust ignition timing.
• Replacement-grade construction: Designed to give a secure electrical connection in the heat and vibration of the engine bay.
• Airtex quality: Airtex is a known aftermarket supplier of fuel, ignition and electrical components.

A damaged knock sensor connector can cause intermittent signals, a check engine light or poor engine performance. Replacing a worn connector with a new pigtail is a practical way to fix these problems.
