Gates Molded HVAC Heater Hose EPDM Rubber

Gates Molded HVAC Heater Hose is a pre-shaped EPDM rubber coolant hose. It carries engine coolant between the engine and the heater core in a vehicle's heating and defrost system. Use it to replace a worn, leaking or collapsed molded heater hose.

Key Features:

• EPDM rubber construction resists heat, ozone, weathering and coolant degradation.
• Molded, pre-formed shape routes cleanly around engine components and helps prevent kinking.
• Reinforced hose construction is built to handle the pressure and temperature cycling of a cooling system.
• Gates quality comes from a brand known for belts, hoses and thermal management components.

Replacing an aging heater hose helps maintain cabin heat and defrost performance. It also helps protect the engine from coolant loss and overheating. Be sure to use fresh clamps and the correct coolant when you install it.
