Stage 8 Turbo Locking Bolt Kit

The Stage 8 Turbo Locking Bolt Kit is a turbocharger hardware kit (also called a turbo flange bolt kit or turbo manifold bolt kit). It uses Stage 8's patented active mechanical locking design to keep turbo bolts from backing out. Heat cycling and engine vibration can loosen ordinary fasteners, which leads to exhaust leaks and gasket failure. This kit is designed to prevent that.

Key Features:

• Active mechanical locking system: A three-piece design made up of a bolt, a locking retainer and a spring clip. The clip holds the retainer against the bolt head, so the bolt can't rotate loose.
• 4130 alloy steel bolts: Built for demanding, high-heat turbo applications.
• Double hex head style: Works with standard wrenches and sockets. Bolts are application specific, so choose the kit that matches your turbo flange.
• Removable and reusable: Needs no chemical threadlocker or safety wire, and the locking hardware can be reused.
• Easy visual inspection: You can check at a glance that the lock is engaged.
• Sold as a kit: Comes with the hardware needed for the application.

Stage 8 designs these locking fasteners to stay tight under shock, vibration and thermal cycling when installed as directed. They help protect against lost boost, exhaust leaks and gasket failure at the turbo connection. Stage 8 recommends anti-seize on stainless steel fasteners.
