York Flame Sensor Male QC

The York flame sensor (also called a furnace flame rod or flame probe) is a replacement part for York gas furnaces. It confirms that the burner flame is lit. This sensor is designed for York furnaces and uses a male quick-connect (QC) terminal for the wire connection.

How It Works:

• The sensor sits in the burner flame and detects flame presence through a small flame-rectification current.
• It sends that signal to the furnace control board.
• The control board keeps the gas valve open only while the flame is proven, and shuts off gas flow if the flame is lost.
