Tuff Stuff Performance GM Alternator 1-Wire

The Tuff Stuff Performance GM 1-wire alternator line gives GM-style charging systems a clean, simple hookup. Each unit has an internal voltage regulator, so you only need to run a single wire to the alternator. That keeps the engine bay tidy in street rods, muscle cars, customs and light trucks. It is also sold as a one-wire or OEM-style replacement alternator, or a high-output alternator.

Key Features:

• One-wire hookup with a low-idle cut-in internal regulator for simple installation
• GM-style case with a V-belt pulley
• Designed to provide charging at low RPM
• Heavy-duty copper-wound coils and spike-resistant diodes
• Built from 100% new components
• Hand built in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and tested to meet or exceed OEM specifications
• 12-volt, negative-ground systems
