Heil Oval Run Capacitor

The Heil Oval Run Capacitor is a motor run capacitor for residential heating and air conditioning systems. It helps keep the motors in your A/C or heat pump running efficiently. It is commonly used with condenser fan motors and compressors. Some technicians call it an AC capacitor, HVAC run capacitor, or oval motor capacitor.

Key Features:

• Oval case design that suits compact mounting spaces in HVAC equipment
• Provides the continuous phase-shifted current that single-phase motors need to run smoothly
• Helps with reliable motor starting and steady operation
• Helps reduce motor strain and supports efficient system performance
• Designed as a replacement part for Heil HVAC equipment
• Terminal connections allow straightforward installation

A weak or failed run capacitor is a common cause of humming motors, hard starting, or an outdoor unit that won't run. Replacing it restores proper motor performance. Always disconnect power and safely discharge the capacitor before servicing. Choose the variant whose microfarad (MFD) and voltage ratings match the original capacitor.
