DV8 Offroad Ball Joint

The DV8 Offroad Ball Joint line gives off-road drivers a heavy-duty replacement suspension ball joint kit. Each kit is built for rugged trail use and replaces worn factory joints. A ball joint is a greaseable ball-and-socket pivot that connects the control arm to the steering knuckle. It lets the wheel steer and move with the suspension while holding the assembly tight.

Key Features:

• Chromoly and steel construction: SAE 4140 chromoly steel studs are paired with SAE 1045 steel housings for strength and durability.
• Greaseable design: Routine greasing supports standard maintenance and a longer service life.
• Built for heat and debris: The upgraded stud and socket housing design is made to cope with high temperatures, dirt and debris.
• Grooved housing: Closely spaced grooves on the housing resist turning and make installation easier.
• DV8 green finish and logo: The housings are finished in the DV8 green and carry the DV8 logo.

New ball joints help restore a tight, controlled feel. They keep the wheel assembly from moving erratically, which supports even tire wear. These kits suit drivers who run larger tires and put heavy steering loads on their suspension.
