Xylem-Bell & Gossett Pressure Relief Valve

The Xylem-Bell & Gossett Pressure Relief Valve line is a range of ASME safety relief valves (also called hot water relief valves or boiler safety valves). They protect fired and unfired hot water vessels from hazardous operating pressures in hydronic heating systems.

Key Features:

• Engineered to Section IV of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code for heating boilers
• Capacities certified by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors
• Bronze body construction with brass internal wetted parts
• EPDM diaphragm and seat
• Diaphragm-assisted design with a much larger effective area than conventional pop-type relief valves, which helps overcome the effects of fouling
• Low differential between opening and closing pressures, which helps prevent system water from flashing to steam and causing hammering
• Maximum operating temperature of 250°F (121°C)
• Threaded NPT connections

Bell & Gossett is a Xylem brand with a long history in hydronic heating. These valves give boiler and hot water systems dependable overpressure protection. Check the individual part listings for each valve's pressure setting and BTU/h capacity.
